𝒳Chk helps you verify the realness of your applicants.
It can help identify fraudulent applicants using the following methods:
- Video deepfakes - their phone camera shows their real identity
- Bait and switch - session snapshot history shows who's at each interview
- Location check - their phone's location is not the same as their IP address or where they say they are
- Reference photo - to verify it's who it's supposed to be.
- Email verification - if they're using email from a verified work account
- Liveness detection - bot prevention by having the candidate tap the screen
- Real phone numbers - Receiving a text means their phone number is likely real
Chances are any fraudulent applicants will just "hang up", and won't even apply if they know you're using 𝒳Chk.
The best way to understand the system is to try it out.
- Press the Add New Candidate button
- Candidates are indexed by their email address, once entered it can't be changed.
- You can add multiple interviewers email addresses separated by commas and we'll invite them.
- Add yourself as a candidate
- Then press the Interview button and scan the QR code or send yourself a text message
- Click the link on your phone, it should bring you to the app
- Now interview yourself!
You should see yourself via your phone's camera - this is the candidate experience
Now you have a view of the candidate from a different angle, with no fake background or video deepfakes.
Once the interview is over, visit Session History and see timestamped snapshots of your interview - every 30 seconds - this way you can make sure the same person is showing up at each interview.
The QR codes on the screenshots form a blockchain of screenshots that can't be faked.
